JERRY LEFEBVRE’S 2012 INFORMERCIAL

 

Jerry Lefebvre is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney who limits his practice to personal injury and wrongful death cases. 


Jerry received his Juris Doctoris degree from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida, in May 1976. 


Jerry was an Assistant Public Defender in Key West, Florida, and then an Assistant State Attorney in Fort Pierce, Florida, before moving to Okeechobee in 1982. 


As a prosecutor he tried many misdemeanor and felony cases including murder cases, sexual battery cases, burglary cases and DUI cases.


For the last 20 years he has limited his practice to negligence actions including personal injury and wrongful death cases.


Jerry has obtained million dollar verdicts in Okeechobee County, Florida;  St. Lucie County, Florida; and Martin County, Florida. 


In 2012, a Martin County, Florida jury returned a $44 million dollar verdict in favor of his clients in a case against a Chinese company which manufactured a defective linked chain. 


Jerry was selected as a “Super Lawyer” in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011.


One of Jerry’s proudest accomplishments is the fact that he was able to place the establishment of the Okeechobee County Children Service Council on the Okeechobee ballot in 1990.


The referendum passed, and Mr. Lefebvre was appointed Chairman of the council by Governor Lawton Chiles in 1991.


He served as Chairman for 10 years. Mr. Lefebvre strongly supports local charitable and educational groups and also strongly supports youth athletic activities.


His beautiful “Spanish styled” law office has been located at 1910 South Parrott Avenue, since it was built in 1999.


It is located across the street from the Wal-Mart Super Center in downtown Okeechobee.
